DeepBlunder is a chess analysis platform that imports your games, evaluates them with Stockfish, and provides AI-generated coaching. This page explains how to delete your DeepBlunder account and what happens to your data when you do.
The fastest way to delete your account is from the app itself:
1. Sign in at deepblunder.com (or open the DeepBlunder Android app).
2. Open Settings.
3. Scroll to the Danger zone and tap Delete my account.
4. Confirm in both dialogs.
Your account and data are deleted immediately on confirmation, and you'll receive a confirmation email at the address on file.
If you can no longer sign in, email us from the address tied to your account at support@deepblunder.com with the subject line Delete my account. We use the reply-from address to verify your identity. We respond and complete the deletion within 30 days.
On deletion, the following is permanently removed from our systems:
— Your profile and authentication record.
— All imported chess games, annotations, and analysis results.
— All AI coaching chat threads and messages.
— Any generated PDF reports tied to your account.
Deletion is immediate and not recoverable.
A small amount of data is retained for legal, financial, or operational reasons beyond our control:
Stripe billing records — if you ever subscribed to a paid plan, Stripe retains payment, refund, and tax records for approximately seven years to comply with financial reporting obligations. This data is held by Stripe, not by DeepBlunder, and we cannot accelerate its removal.
Email delivery logs — our transactional email provider (Resend) retains send metadata (timestamp, delivery status, recipient address) for approximately thirty days. No message content is retained beyond delivery.
For deletion requests or questions, contact us at support@deepblunder.com.
