Account information: name, email address, and authentication data (including Google profile information if you sign in with Google).
Usage data: chess games you upload, analysis results, AI chat conversations, and general usage patterns (pages visited, features used).
Payment data: processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details.
We use your data to: (a) provide and improve the Service; (b) analyze your chess games with Stockfish and AI models; (c) send transactional emails (welcome, subscription updates); (d) monitor usage quotas and prevent abuse; (e) respond to support requests.
When you use AI coaching features, your game data and messages are sent to third-party AI providers for processing. These providers may process data according to their own privacy policies. We do not send your email address or personal information to AI providers — only chess game data and your messages.
Your data is stored on Supabase (hosted on AWS) with row-level security policies. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with: (a) Stripe for payment processing; (b) AI providers for coaching features; (c) Resend for transactional emails; (d) law enforcement when legally required.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data (games, analyses, chat history, profile) is permanently and immediately removed from our systems.
You have the right to: (a) access your data; (b) correct inaccurate data; (c) delete your account and all associated data; (d) export your data. To exercise these rights, use the settings page or contact us.
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics cookies.
The Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
